Riding- after 2 weeks off

Of course, my horse wasn't given two weeks off, but I was. Which made matters worse. Although I was out of riding-shape, (my position wasn't as good as it usually is) the ride went extremely well, despite the fact that, the entire time, there were loud bangs, creaks, and shrieks from the 60 mile an hour wind gusts that shook the indoor arena. Sweetie didn't shy once; we worked on half-halting before corners, and moving the hindquarters to the edge of the corner wall. We also did a little rein-back, which I haven't done in about a year.... (tee hee =P) and sitting trot; which I SO have to work on. I have no idea how I showed First Level last season. xD
Today, we had CMT standardized testing in school. We have testing all this week, next week, and half of the following week. Bleh. =(
Oh well. Still looking forward to the trip to Florida this weekend, though! =D
